In 1971 Mary Louise van der Wilden,
former cosmetic and accessories buyer for
Bendel’s and Bergdorf Goodman, decided to give up commuting and open Le
Papillon.
Once established, Le
Papillon was quickly recognized as
the boutique to find an incredible selection of unique clothing and
accessories, with a friendly and experienced staff, giving personal
attention is our number one goal!
In addition to our selection
of attire, we also boast a large home furnishings area, wonderful
childrens gifts and "The Brass Horn". With everything from door
knockers to dinnerware, we are able to make your home beautiful and
inviting.
